How do I install the website as an app on my phone?

The BiggerCity website includes features not found on the iOS and Android mobile apps (e.g., the Chat room, Forums, etc.). However, you can also access these features by installing the website on your mobile phone.

The website is a progressive web app (PWA), which means it can adapt to the smaller screens and can also be installed on the home screen of your mobile phone like a native app. Follow the instructions below for your Android or iOS device.

Android

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to www.biggercity.com

  2. Tap the overflow menu on the upper right hand side of the screen:

     

  3. Tap on Install app:

     

  4. Tap Install to confirm:

  5. That’s it! The website is now accessible from your home screen and you can sign in and use the features not available on the native mobile app.

 

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Safari and go to www.biggercity.com

  2. Tap the action/share button at the center of the bottom toolbar:

     

  3. Tap on Add to Home Screen:

     

  4. Tap the Add button on the upper right hand side:

     

  5. That’s it! The website is now accessible from your home screen and you can sign in and use the features not available on the native mobile app.
