How do I fix Error 1020 when connecting to the chat room?
Error 1020 is issued by our chat service provider. It means that you’re trying to connect to the chat using a connection that is deemed “unsafe” by them. You’ll likely encounter this if you’re using a VPN or proxy service, which they have blocked due to problems with other users in the past.
More recently, some VPNs that route traffic through Amazon servers are seeing this problem.
If you have a VPN app or proxy service setup on your device, we would recommend disabling it, or switching to a different provider. This should help you get around the blocking issue you’re experiencing.
